Donor Statement

The School District 145 Foundation for Education strongly believes in protecting the privacy of its donors and the confidentiality of information concerning them. Donor records, both hard copy and electronic, and other donor information is highly confidential and protected. We do not exchange, lend, rent or sell our donor lists to third party organizations. Personal information on file will not be disclosed. Employees and volunteers of the School District 145 Foundation for Education are not permitted to use this information for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for the benefit of the School District 145 Foundation for
Education. 
 

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. Donors and prospective donors, can have full confidence in the School District 145 Foundation for Education to:

  1. Share our mission, intent for donated resources, and our capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
  2. Make known the identity of those serving on the organization's governing Board, and expect that Board to exercise prudent judgement in its stewardship responsibilities.
  3. Provide access to our Annual Report, and IRS Form 990.
  4. Assure gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
  5. Assure that information about any donation is handled with respect and confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
  6. Keep relationships with donors professional in nature.
